We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

We offer after hours appointments, as well. Contact us today for availability.

  • Will you notarize my documents at your office?

No, as all of our services are provided remotely online and mobile (where we come to you).

  • What types of documents cannot be notarized by Business and Notary Solutions, LLC?

Your notary public is commissioned in the State of Texas and, therefore, must adhere to Texas law.

Additionally, Texas law does not currently authorize notaries public to certify copies of documents that are recordable in public records, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, etc.

Your Secretary of State's office can provide information regarding whether you reside in a state that accepts online notarized documents.

  • Will I still receive a notary stamp on my online notarized document?

Yes, absolutely! Your remote online notarization will be conducted just as an in-person notarization would be.

You will receive a notary stamp, the notary's signature, and a legally compliant notarial certificate completely filled in by the notary.

  • What do I need in order to have a document notarized online?

    • You will need to present a valid, unexpired government-issued ID and the document(s) to be notarized.
    • Upon scheduling your appointment with our notary public you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online session.
    • To send your documents to us, you can upload them securely by either clicking the "Send Us a File" button on the righthand side of our website, by uploading them when you book your appointment with us via our website using the client portal. If you prefer, you can always email them to us at Info@bnsnotary.com.
    • For formatting purposes, it is best if you scan the documents and upload them rather than uploading a photograph of them.
  • How long will the online notary appointment last?

The length of the appointment will depend on the amount of signatures and notary seals needed on your document(s), but appointments typically last approximately 10-15 minutes. Real estate loan signing appointments typically last longer due to the length of the documents and the complexity of the appointment.

  • How long after my online notary appointment will I receive my document?

You will have access to your online notarized document via email upon payment being received for services rendered.

  • I need a witness or multiple witnesses for the signing of my document(s), can you provide witnesses for me?

For remote online notary services, we can connect  witnesses to your online session within a matter of SECONDS. There will be an additional charge of $10.00 per witness needed for your document(s).

For mobile notary services, it will be the signer's responsibility to provide witnesses for the signing. However, in the event we are able to locate an available witness or witnesses for your signing, you will be charged an additional $25.00 fee per witness provided.

*It should be noted, we adhere to industry best practices; therefore, your notary will not act as a notary public and a witness on the same document.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Bank Transfers, and Cash.

  • What are the maximum notary fees allowed by the State of Texas?

Tex. Gov't. Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public, or their employer, may charge for notary public services. Notaries public may charge the following fees:

    • Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal: ($4.00)

    • Each notice of protest: ($1.00)

    • Protesting in all other cases : ($4.00)

    • Certificate and seal to a protest: ($4.00)

    • Taking the acknowledgment or proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal:

    1. for the first signature: ($10.00)

    2. for each additional signature: ($1.00)

    • Administering an oath or affirmation with certificate and seal: ($10.00)

    • All certificates under seal not otherwise provided for: ($10.00)

    • Copies of all records and papers in the Notary Public's office, for each page: ($1.00)

    • Taking the depositions of witnesses, for each 100 words: ($1.00)

    • Swearing a witness to a deposition, certificate, seal, and other business connected with taking the deposition: ($10.00)

    • All notarial acts not provided for: ($10.00)

According to the Texas Secretary of State's office, online notaries may charge up to $25.00 for each notarization they perform in addition to regular notary charges authorized by Tex. Gov’t Code §406.024.

    For example:

    • A.) If an online notary public notarizes the signature of one person, the charge will be: $35.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee + $10.00 for the regular notary charge = $35.00).

    • B.) If an online notary public notarizes the signatures of two persons named in the same notarial certificate, the charge will be: $36.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee + $10.00 for the regular notary charge + $1.00 for the additional person = $36.00).

    • C.) If an online notary notarizes the signatures of two persons, and there are separate notarial certificates for each signing party, the charge will be: $70.00 (i.e., $25.00 for the online notary fee for the first person + $10.00 for the first notarization and $25.00 for the online notary fee for the second person + $10.00 for the second notarization, which totals $70.00).
